Heritage Harvest Festival Seed Swap

Seed savers can get a head start on the Heritage Harvest Festival at Monticello Sept. 12 with an Old Timey Seed Swap. It’s from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Glass Porch.

Gardeners and farmers in the Southeast who grow heirloom plants will have the chance to network and exchange knowledge, seeds, and enthusiasm while helping to preserve unique Southern heirloom plants.

The early start allows seed enthusiasts to mingle in a more relaxed setting before the flurry of workshops, lectures, tastings, tours, and demonstrations begin.

Fresh coffee and breakfast will be available from local vendors.

As part of the Heritage Harvest Festival, general admission to the seed swap is free. Parking $5 per vehicle; carpooling is encouraged.
